From Command Line to Conversational AI
Learned Command Line to Order Books from Library
At a young age, I learned a command line application to order books from the library.
I loved ordering books online and then, retrieving the stack of books I had ordered. I’d gleefully read in a nook alongside a diverse range of people pursuing knowledge.
It was my first technology-driven tactile user experience…and I was hooked!
Education
In university, I became a modern day librarian - pursuing a dual degree BSc in IT and a MBA.
I wanted to help businesses understand technology. So, I pursued business analyst opportunities and helped shape global, enterprise products from IVR applications to financial systems.
Business Analyst Experience
As a data-driven business analyst, I drafted business requirements, designed technical diagrams and wrote software documentation.
I helped business leaders understand product technologies, influenced prioritization of KPIs and test solutions.
I implemented chatbot flows to assist agents selling insurance.
I learned a variety of conversational AI technologies (AWS Lex, IPSoft Amelia) and scaled the bot from 1 state to countrywide in less than a year.
Conversational AI Engineer
Conversation Design and Consulting Experience
As Zoom’s first conversation designer, I conducted a chatbot assessment, developed a chatbot product vision and roadmap.
I guided the team with industry-standard frameworks to increase self-service and improve organizational capability in conversational AI.
